Third student voice collection based on an observation by my inquiry buddy - 15/6/2016

16/6/2016

There was an observation set up whereby my inquiry critical buddy was asked to collect my student voice.

I have had to redo my learning rubrics since Pakuranga school has developed a new learning charter but the Strive learning habit is still identified as the one that the CUSP students find difficult  to implement/follow hence maybe impact on achievement.

Data from formatives in classroom are showing a shift in achievement when the criteria was checking for blank answers.  There seems to be an attempt seen to answer questions by writing at least some equation or word down. This was also seen in class work and their effort was highly praised.

The students all seem to have strategies in place to develop their learning to strive habit but were confused on their actual goal setting.  They seem to sound more resilient and have appreciated the differentiation given to them especially the scaffolding provided for them.

The next step is to remind students to re-set goals and follow up achievement by using formatives.

She pushes me a lot, and explain stuff

My teacher works one on one. She has given me a seating plan and my teacher checks my work.
Ms helps me a lot, she lets me go at my own pace. She scaffolds the work for me rather than giving answers. She is awesome.
